"They Kidnapped The Baby Jesus"

child_nativity_scene_p. In a little Pennsylvania town someone stole the baby Jesus. That's right. They went right into the manger scene at the local church and stole the Christ Child.

Now, it was only a doll, but, believe it or not, the kidnappers left a ransom note - yeah, a ransom note. In their note, they boldly stated that they would not give back the baby Jesus until God helped them to win the lottery.

Now, I don't know whether God gives a "hoot" about the lottery, but if He does, I'd say the kidnappers chances of winning it just got a whole lot smaller.

But the bigger question is this, "Who has stolen the baby Jesus from our schools and our malls, from our public parks and our government buildings?".

It used to be that everywhere you went during the Christmas season there were angels and wise men and shining stars and manger scenes. They were beautiful.

But, today we're seeing these less and less even though Christmas is all about the Christ child - the holiday even bears His name, "Christ".

So really, the bigger question is not, "Who stole the baby Jesus doll from the manger scene?" The bigger question, the Big Question is,

Who stole the baby Jesus from our nation - and when will He be put back into His rightful place?
