"The Club" - by Jerry Stewart

When my grandson, Jordan, was just six years old, my wife and I bought him an outdoor playhouse. He loved it. We played in it all the time. One day when I came home from work he was there. He said, "Bubba, let's start a club". Then, for the next little while he told me what this new club would be about, who he would invite to be members, and just what we would do at our club meetings. As we talked, I asked him what the name of his club would be. He stood there, thinking, for a brief moment, then he said, "The Followers of God". He had to see that my face was just beaming. I was so proud that he wanted God to be in his club. But it made me think. Why are some Christians so willing to take God with them to their church or some other religious gathering, but by their actions they clearly show that there are some parts of their lives that when it comes to God, He's strictly not invited? Thankfully, God sees the relationship much differently. He says, "I will never leave thee or forsake thee". My question to you today is this, "Is God a member of your club?"
